Rules for Submitting Lots.

If you'd like to submit a lot/set there are a few key rules or basically reminders to remember:
1. E-mail your set to [e-mail]. If you don't have an e-mail address then simply upload your lot to the exchange and PM me the web address.
2. Be extremely detailed in what the set has - list the custom content, floors, rooms, etc.
3. The most important part of your description is telling what exapansions are needed. If you don't it could cause someone's game to crash.
4 Include pictures to make it more intriguing to prospective downloaders.
5. Have fun making sets and utilize custom content!

I'll go find a good description of a lot and post it.

Good Example of Details to post:

Title: Newbie Road 86 [NL] - Starter House
Category: Lots & Housing > Residential > Starter Houses

Cost: 19.964
Lot size: 2x3

Nightlife expansion required.
No custom content.


Description:
Starter house with porch and terrace in the garden, furnished for 1-2 sims with two small spare rooms. Open kitchen/dining area, two driveways included, some landscaping/decoration.

1 x double bedroom
2 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining/living room
2 x spare room (unfurnished)

Basic appliances included: lights, toilet, tub/shower combo, fridge, kitchen sink, phone, burglar alarm, trash can, smoke detector, bookshelf. This house also has a stove and an outdoor chess set.


Note:
If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, use Clean Installer instead of the Maxis one. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.
